Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?
No. Physiotherapists are primary healthcare providers so feel free to give us a call if you'd like to make an appointment.
Who can physiotherapists treat?
Physiotherapists can treat anyone of any age: children, teenagers, adults and the elderly.
Is physiotherapy treatment claimable under Workcover, TAC or Veterans Affairs?
Yes, when booking your first appointment please let us know if you would like to claim under any of the above so we can grab a few extra details off you (such as your claim number) so we are able to process your claim quicker on the day.
Should I bring any scans/results to my appointment?
Yes, if you have any results or doctors notes (such as X-rays, MRIs, CT Scans etc.) please bring them to your appointment as these may affect the treatment option.
Is physiotherapy treatment safe during pregnancy ?
Yes, physiotherapy is safe during pregnancy and may be very helpful for common pregnancy related conditions such as pelvic pain.
What will happen during my first appointment?
Your first appointment includes a thorough assessment plus treatment. During the consultation the physio will complete an in-depth interview about your condition to determine where the problem lies and what course of treatment action will be best for you. Then they will get to work on treating you.
